EA Sports have announced the first batch of names on their 100 highest-rated players list for the upcoming FIFA 18 release, and Liverpool fans were not pleased with the rating given to one of their star men.

Despite making such a big impact following his move from Southampton last summer, Sadio Mane has only been rated at 84 by the makers of the popular game.

The likes of Chelsea’s Willian, Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan have all been given a higher rating than the 25-year-old, despite the fact that he had superior stats to all three players in the Premier League last season.

Liverpool supporters were quick to have their say on the news via social media, and they were far from happy with how the Senegal international had been rated.

While some believe it is an “absolute joke”, others feel that it is “genuinely disgraceful” that Mane has been given a lower rating than United’s Mkhitaryan.
