One shot of the celebrations captured Mullin, arms aloft, taking in the supporters' adulation – a scene almost identical to that of last season when Wrexham won a historic promotion back to the Football League after a 15-year absence.

The Liverpudlian was slow to get into his stride this season as he recovered from a horrific injury sustained in Wrexham's pre-season tour of America.
But the striker was back to his irrepressible best when the business end of the season arrived, rattling off 13 goals in 11 games, including a goal which owner Rob McElhenney picked out as his favourite Mullin strike.
