Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club delivered a new update on the developments of the new stadium, which has taken much longer than expected to complete.
The latest update reveals that the north London-based side’s Premier League games against Watford, Newcastle and Leicester will be played at Wembley, as well as the Champions League last 16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.
Should Spurs overcome Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and progress into the fifth round of the FA Cup, that tie will also be played at Wembley if Mauricio Pochettino’s men are handed a ‘home’ tie.
The new target for the grand unveiling of the 62,000 seater stadium is the league game against Crystal Palace on March 16th, but fans are growing impatient at the prospect of having to watch their games at Wembley for even longer.
